The “Spark Spread”: The High-Stakes Game of Energy Arbitrage Designing a sovereign city requires the architect to operate as a high-stakes banker. At the core of this discipline is the Spark Spread, a real-time decision-science model executed through a proprietary Excel-based macro tool known as The Sovereign Arbiter. The architect must calculate the Return on Sovereignty (RoS) by deciding the most profitable use of syngas in milliseconds: Compute Power: Should the syngas be burned for electricity to power the RIOS clusters for high-tier cloud leasing or crypto-mining? Synthetic Fuel: Should the syngas be diverted through the Fischer-Tropsch process to produce liquid synthetic diesel for physical sale? Energy Storage: Is the spread favorable for storing power in battery arrays for peak-shaving?
