These sources describe the development and strategic evolution of the Kaabong Smart Eco-Industrial Park in Uganda, a project managed by a consortium including Agra Energy Uganda, DeReticular, and InVentures. The initiative centers on a 7,000-acre industrial hemp estate utilizing a continuous rolling harvest model and autonomous farming technology to provide a steady supply of raw materials. This biomass is processed into high-value products like pharmaceutical-grade oils and high-tensile fibers, while woody stalks power a plasma gasification plant to generate 7.11 MW of off-grid electricity. The project integrates a sophisticated digital layer called the Sovereign Stack, which employs blockchain, zero-knowledge cryptography, and edge AI to verify physical yields and facilitate international financial settlement. While originally planned as a massive industrial engine, the site was re-scoped in early 2026 as a Sovereign Oasis focused on resilient off-grid hospitality and modular technology validation. Collectively, the documents outline a blueprint for sovereign industrial continuity by merging advanced agricultural robotics with decentralized energy and financial systems.
